As a way of holding ourselves accountable, and to ensure we stay on track with our commitment to training for Tough Mudders, we decided to chronicle our progress in this blog.

Week 0

Preparing for Week 1, Starting on Monday, August 15th, Tom and I bought new cross training shoes for ourselves and Jake, ordered P90X, pumped up the tires on the bikes, mapped out a route for running/biking in the neighborhood and gorged ourselves on everything unhealthy we had in the fridge and the pantry. Whew... at least all of the unhealthy crap is out of the house!

Forming the team for Tough Mudders, our goal today was to recruit teammates, come up with a team name, brainstorm on who may be able to sponsor and look into ways to raise money for Wounded Warriors. Team names will be revealed once a concensus of all teammates has been reached, but my favorite is "I Can't Believe We're Tough Mudders!"

Setting the alarm for 5am so we can get a jog in before work, so we're off to bed; and yes, it is 7:30pm.
